“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” – Philippians 2:3

My mission is to live a life of service that is worthy of honor to God our Father. It is my daily goal to develop services that help enrich individuals and help strengthen the reach of the church to help serve those in need and be a positive influence in my community.

Ordained to the Diaconate in 2022 in the Diocese of Central Florida

Laurie Anderson

Prayer and Communications Coordinator

Laurie Anderson is a Health Care Advocate, helping people unravel their health care and benefit options to make good choices.  She brings her passion for helping to her work with the church and her church family.  She authors a weekly newsletter to offer inspiration and insight for readers, wherever they are in their life’s walk.  Laurie makes it her mission to connect believers and non-believers to the resources, readings and people that can help them personally know God, see Him at work in their lives and experience His comfort, peace and direction.  She cherishes her role as mother, grandmother and aunt and feels most blessed when watching the adventures and antics of her ever-growing family.

Her prayer for those she serves is that God will bless them by placing the people and circumstances they most need to experience directly on the path in front of them.

As a young man and student leader, my passion revolves around multicultural ministry and reaching out to people in the margins. I seek to help believers recognize God’s image in one another and teach them to honor Christ through everyday life. My mission is to create a Church that builds bridges and embodies the Gospel “not only with [their] lips, but in [their] lives” (BCP, p. 125).
